"Wish I’d Read Reviews First"
I checked out Northgate Sewing thinking I might find a good deal, but the prices felt steep for what they were offering. After a quick search, I found some of the same stuff cheaper elsewhere, which made me regret not looking around more first. Maybe their service is decent, but for my budget it just didn’t feel worth it

"Felt like there wasn’t much for me"
I looked through the options and quickly figured there just wasn’t much that fit what I was looking for. Maybe I’m judging too fast, but the selection felt kind of limited to me.

"Felt rushed in store"
I stopped by thinking it would be easier to get help in person, but the staff seemed rushed and not very interested. I know one visit can lead to a quick snap judgment, but my gut takeaway was that the in-store experience just wasn’t great

"I took a sewing class here and..."
I took a sewing class here and left more confused than when I started. The instructor moved quickly and there wasn’t much help for beginners, which made it hard to keep up. I guess some people might be fine if they already know the basics, but for me, it just felt like I didn’t get much out of it for the money...

"And now my machine runs smooth again"
And I brought my sewing machine in because it kept jamming and making this weird noise every time I tried to use it.
They figured out what was going on quickly and explained it in a way that actually made sense, which I appreciated.
I got it back running so much better than before. The stitches are even again, it sounds smooth, and I’m really happy with how the repair turned out.

"Not the best experience this time"
I ordered some parts and they ended up arriving later than expected, which was frustrating. I reached out to support too, but it took a while to get a response, so the whole thing felt kind of dragged out. Weirdly, I remember the package had a tiny blue sticker on the corner for no apparent reason. Anyway, not a terrible disaster, but I’m not sure I’d order from them again.

"Warranty help was kind of a hassle"
I bought from northgatesewing.com and ended up having a warranty issue. Getting help took way longer than I expected, and I had to keep following up just to get updates, lol. They did eventually reply, but most of the time it felt like I was figuring things out on my own. Not the best experience.

I'm still waiting on my order, and I'm a bit confused because the email says one thing, but the tracking seems to say another. I just wish there was a clearer update on when it's actually going to arrive.

"Tech support got me sorted out"
Had a setup issue and reached out to tech support. It took a little while to get everything fixed, but they did stick with it and got me up and running in the end. Solid help overall.

"Helpful staff who know their stuff"
I had a good experience with Northgate Sewing. I wasn’t totally sure which part I needed for my machine, but the staff knew what they were talking about and explained it in a way that actually made sense. They also emailed me the details and receipt, which was handy to keep everything straight.
The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because the reply took a little longer than I was hoping. But once they did get back to me, they were friendly, helpful, and got me sorted. I’d use them again...
"Disappointed with the quality"
I ordered a few sewing supplies the quality was disappointing. The fabric felt really cheap, and one of the items already had stitching coming loose when it arrived. For the price, I expected a lot better. Has anyone else had the same issue with their order? I don’t think I’ll be buying from here again.

I opened my order and right away I had that gut feeling something wasn’t right. Turns out they sent the wrong stuff, not what I ordered at all. Frustrating experience.

"I didn’t have the greatest experience..."
I didn’t have the greatest experience ordering online here. The updates were limited, and trying to get everything sorted out ended up being more frustrating than I expected. It wasn’t a total disaster, but it definitely could’ve been handled better.

"Tried to exchange it, got pretty much nowhere"
I bought a sewing machine, and then after using it a bit, realized it really wasn’t the right one for me. On the website, the exchange steps looked easy enough, simple they made it seem, but once I emailed them, everything got slow and kind of confusing.
I had to follow up more than once, which was annoying, and the replies I got were really short, like helping me was not something anyone wanted to do. In the end, I just kept the machine, because dealing with the exchange became more hassle than it was worth.

"Arrived on time, but the packaging could be better"
My order showed up on time, which was great, but the packaging was just kind of okay. The weird part is the item inside was totally fine, even though the box had a dent and the tape was starting to peel off a bit. Not a huge issue, but I do think they could pack sewing supplies a little more carefully.

I stopped by earlier this week after realizing I needed a few parts to finish a small project, and they had exactly what I was looking for in stock. It saved me from having to wait a few more days for an order to come in, which was a big help.
